Chefs Notes: I use this grinder to make cat and dog food with whole uncooked chicken bones and all. Connected to a .5 HP electric motor and this thing isnt taking no for an answer. I have over a year of monthly use with no problems (Richard in CO.). I mounted this grinder to a board and bolted down an electric motor I had and it works great! Its kind of heavy because the board I used is a 2 X 10 X 24. I cut a U shape in the board so the hamburger could fall down into the bowl in the sink. The motor I used is a 3/4 HP, but that is overkill, I just had this one on the shelf. I now have 3 or 4 families bringing their grind meat to me. I grind & they wrap. Cant keep up with this thing. (Mr.Impala in AR).
