This is the professional ice chipper used by NICA sculptors.
It is made from hardened steel with very sharp ice chipping points and a comfortable hardwood handle. Perfect for chipping large ice blocks and shaping scupltures. It is easy to resharpen the points with a diamond stone (below). We have also seen this item used to break chocolate blocks!

These are Forged Japanese Ice Carving Chisels. Set includes 4 pieces, and a carry case. The chisels have long hardwood handles. The set contains a wide Flat chisel, a V chisel, a smaller flat chisel, ice pick and carvers tool. The chisels are hand forged and each one is handmade. We use them in NICA competitions! These are Japanese Ice Carving Chisels. Set includes 5 custom made chisels with Ironwood handles (14 in. long). The set contains a 1.25 in. wide Flat chisel, 1.5 in. wide Flat chisel, 2 in. V chisel, 1.5 in. Curved chisel, 1.5 in. Scoop chisel. The Ironwood handles are the choice of NICA carvers, they are very hard, durable, waterproof and made to last. The chisels are hand forged and each one is handmade in Japan from the highest quality steel available. The Master Chisel Maker in Japan has been hand forging these for decades. These chisels have a Rockwell hardness of 59. They come in a felt lined hardwood presentation box. Chef Depot is the exclusive Importer of these high quality chisels.
