We really like these Messermeister Meridian Elite knives from Solingen, Germany! This forged riveted handle line offers a timeless traditional design. It features a virtually indestructible POM (poly oxy methelene) handle, which won't warp, crack, shrink or separate from the blade over time. Messermeister uses a high carbon molybdenum/vanadium nostain x 50 CrMoV 15 professional tool steel in these knives. This steel is hard enough so it will hold its edge for a very long time, yet it has the elasticity so that it can be realigned or easily resharpened. It also has a superior cutting edge; with Messermeisters extra three step sharpening process (it has been called the sharpest forged knife available). It also features a bolsterless edge, which allows you to resharpen the entire length of the blade from point to heel without creating an indentation by the bolster. The cambered edge allows for a spectacular rocking action verses the traditional lift chop method. This is the Cucina Classico Stainless Steel Table. The Food Service Grade Stainless Steel (18/8 grade) has a polished top and Bull nose corners & edges for great looks and safety. This table has adjustable feet for leveling. The open base accommodates two counter stools on each side (Order Below - Not Included).
