Chefs Q & A: A few frequently asked questions;
Q. How does it work?
A. The friction of the natural ceramics inside the Green Wash Ball in your machine will increase the pH level of the water. The same as your regular household detergent but without any of the harmful chemicals.
Q. How do I use it?
A. Just place the GreenWashBall in the washer with your laundry and run the washer as you would with detergent. Do not leave the GreenWashBall in the washing machine. We recommend leaving the ball out for one hour per week for ultimate performance.
Q. What kind of materials can it be used on?
A. You can use the GreenWashBall on any laundry where you would regularly use laundry detergent. Do not use it on 'dry clean only' clothes or clothing that should be hand washed.
Q. How long does the GreenWashBall / Dryer Ball last?
A. The GreenWashBall is good for 1000 washes, if you do one load per day, it will last for aprox. 3 years. This costs about .03 cents a load ~ way less than any itchy detergents.
Q. Can you use it more than once a day?
A. Yes, you can use it as many times as you need to, just like regular detergent.
Q. Can I use bleach or detergent?
A. The GreenWashBall replaces detergent. Any product that you normally use with detergent can be used with the GreenWashBall.
Q. What is inside the GreenWashBall?
A. There are only high quality ceramics inside the GreenWashBall. No chemicals or detergent.
Q. Are there any chemicals or detergent in the GreenWashBall?
A. No, only natural ceramics.
Q. How does it make my clothes smell?
A. The GreenWashBall does not have any scent. Your clothes will smell fresh and clean. On really dirty load we often add a scoop of homemade detergent, recipe is below.
